What a great week for our football program:

Thursday our JV football team defeated our Hall County rival East Hall High 43-36. The team was led by Charles Dimnwaobi with 145 yards rushing, 70 yards receiving while scoring 4 Touchdowns. Atticus Hull rushed for 38 yards and 1 Touchdown while Cameron Mulvehill was 6 for 8 passing for 130 yards. Max Grimes caught a 2pt conversion to close out the scoring.
The defensive effort was led by Alex Foster with 11 tackles and Ty Hall with 2 interceptions.
Congratulations to Coach Pleasant and Coach Smith as the JV team ended on a great note a 3-3 record.

Friday Night the varsity team traveled to Milledgeville to take on our rival Georgia Military.
The offense went 83 yards on the first drive with Victor Pittman scoring from 12 yards out to give the Eagles a 7-0 lead after Jose Marrufo’s extra point. The defense dominated the entire first quarter forcing GMC to punt two times. Khalid Duke, Ebube Alfred-Igbokwe, and Miguel Myer led the defensive assault harassing the GMC QB. GMC scored on a long pass in the 2nd quarter to close to 7-6 as GMC missed the extra Point. After the GMC score The Eagle Offense was back at work with Isaac Teasley completing a 17 yard pass to Jaurus Bong. Lyle Lopez had a run for 19 yards and Alvery Wilson finished the drive with a 1 yard run to make the score 14-6 at the half. GMC had one final drive in the 4th quarter that was shut down on 4th and 8 from the Eagle 34 yard line. Wookdong (Harry) Kim made an unbelievable sack, forcing the QB to fumble and he recovered it as well. Lopez and Pittman ran the ball tough getting two first down to close out the game!

A win over Athens Christian will put the team in the Georgia State Play-offs.
